Welcome to my world.
I am dyslexic and blog writing, so never let anything hold you back. So if you see a grammar error or two or some words out of sequence, it means the proofreader did not pick them up. Thanks for understanding. I am learning how to manage it.
I read many *about mes* on many blogs. I think I have the most boring about me page.
I am just a real simple down to earth country girl. So with that said, let’s go and find out a bit more about.
My name is Rachel, I love to eat; I love to cook, love to photograph things. Simple really.
Born in New Zealand, and raised on a farm. I had pet pigs, sheep and all the usual suspects. IE: cats and dogs and guinea pigs. I climbed trees, rode on tractors, cooked, had fights with my brothers, all the things you do on a farm. I grew up in a simple household where we made and produced all our food. That is where I learnt to cook, to sew, to garden and do many other things.
Moved to Australia a few years ago, fell in love with a man and the country. I now call it home.
My grandfather was a chef; that’s him holding the big stick in the center. So cooking is a passed on down skill
The food you will find on here is simple humble fare, what I have been making for a long time. And food has to be easy. We all like easy food to make.
I am so not into packet food. Just not my scene.
So if you are looking something simple, something sweet, and just a touch of kiwi, then this is the place for you.
