Almonds Biscuits – 1971 Edmonds Cookbook

Here I am again, week 2 of my Edmonds baking challenge.

The whole idea of it is to bake one recipe every week from a 1971 Edmonds cookbook. I was going to do one every day, but that would have been too unrealistic with work and day to day life.
But one every week I can do.

I cooked mine in a wood fired stove, the back corner is always a tad hotter than the front, hence the different colour. Results will vary from stove to stove.

What I like is that the recipes are easy and non-complicated to make. You can do them with just a bowl and wooden spoon if you want to.
If you are on facebook, why not join our Edmonds cookbook groupies group, and don’t forget to follow my Bakeandcut.info facebook page. Just click on the highlighted words.

Happy baking and happy munching!
