Anzac biscuits, The first thing that pops into my head is soldiers. To be exact Australian, and New Zealand soldiers (ANZAC) receiving a tin of homemade biscuits. Can you imagine what they felt when they got that tin and opened up a touch of home, a touch of love. Must have been so comforting.Read more
I cooked mine in a wood fired stove, the back corner is always a tad hotter than the front, hence the different colour. Results will vary from stove to stove.
