Scrolled Melting Moments Rachel style

  • 180 grams butter
  • ⅓ cup (40 grams ) icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • ⅓ cup ( 40 gram ) cornflour
  • 1 cup ( 125 gram ) plain flour
  • approximately 100 grams glace cherries
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree C , grease and line a baking tray with paper
  2. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla essence together until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in sifted flour , corn flour , beating until just combined and smooth.
  4. Spoon into a piping bag fitted with a 1 cm (1/2 inch) nozzle. Pipe mixture in rosettes 4 cm (1 ½ inches) in diameter onto the tray. Top each biscuit with half a glace cherry.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees C, or until lightly golden and crisp. Cool
